schools, are underway entering the second half of the year means tiwa has commenced a new planning period for travel and marketing, which means we are looking forward to a busy few months ahead, engaging our valuable agent partners through marketing collaboration and in country visits since our last newsletter, our team of regional managers have travelled to places including japan, south korea, south africa, cambodia, laos, thailand, hong kong, taiwan, india, bhutan and bangladesh during our travels, we met with agent partners, government departments, schools, and vocational colleges 2025 26 budget, that it would be investing aud$1 4 billion in a future for the state focussed on a simple concept made in wa this investment will include numerous projects to support industries such july at optus stadium over 200 students celebrated receiving their certificate, diploma and advanced diploma testamurs following keynote speeches, firstly from hon dr parwinder kaur, mlc, deputy chair of committees, and then from students hlomla mabele and rufaro chikwama, students took to the stage one by one to receive their awards from college directors and pose for photos it was also an opportunity to celebrate ms judith d’costa who, after 30 years working in international student support at south metropolitan tafe college has opted to retire we wish her the very best, and we know her legacy will continue to be the strong support systems in place, not just at bentley campus, but at all tafe campuses regional bursary 2026 tiwa is thrilled to announce the extension of the popular regional bursary into 2026, for both semester 1 and 2 the aud$5,000 bursary is available for international students to start studies at tafe in regional wa this money can help pay for costs such as
