dedicated partners the expansion of our international recruitment, communications, and digital teams as many of you are aware, since covid, tiwa’s staffing was significantly reduced, and it has taken some years to re build to previous capacity levels we acknowledge that the last few years have been difficult for many of our partners working with us, and we wanted to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for your time and patience during this challenging period, and for sticking with us! we are so pleased to advise we are now at full capacity and can now formally introduce you all to our wonderful, experienced team please take a look at our “meet the team” section in this newsletter, although i am sure many of you are familiar with some of these faces and may have already been in touch we have many exciting things planned for 2024 and look forward to sharing these with you as we meet face to face or online throughout the year, at industry events and recruitment activities, either here in perth or in your home country however, we cannot ignore the changing landscape, and as we wait to hear the outcomes and directives of the new migration strategy, please do not hesitate to contact any of us, if you have any questions in the meantime, rest assured, the western australian government continues to invest in the sector, and many new projects are underway, including regional bursaries and new facilities at tafe colleges throughout the state it would seem, wa is still “a place like no other” and there is no better place or time for your students to undertake a course of study at tafe western australia, or at our government schools our team is always here to support you, but if i can assist personally with anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to me, or ask your regional manager to arrange an appointment for us to connect i look forward to working with you all in 2024 chantelle dawkins associate director, recruitment, migration policies and processes whilst some of the directions and guidelines are yet to be implemented, the priority processing of genuine students and granting of student visas, has started to take effect tiwa wishes to assure all our agents and partners that we will continue to adhere to doha guidelines, and maintain continuous monitoring of compliance risks, as standard practice within our international admissions and agent management processes refund policy given the unique situation for this semester, pending some visa delays, tiwa is continuing to communicate closely with students and agent partners, particularly where refunds are required refunds will be processed according to the tiwa refund policy, which can be found here the exception to this is where a student, due to visa delays from extenuating circumstances, cannot defer to an alternative intake date and is required to withdraw, an administration fee of aud$280 00 only will be applied for any queries regarding urgent
